Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College, Jhansi is one of the top Government Medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This medical college is named after the “Queen Of Jhansi ” MAHARANI LAXMI BAI. This medical college came into existence in 1968 to provide medical care to poor people of Uttar Pradesh. The foundation stone was laid down by Dr. Sushila Nayar, the then Union Health Minister and a Member of the Lok Sabha from Jhansi. MLB Medical College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students.

• The students, who have passed the 10+2 examination with science stream and have Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English in 12^th stream, may go for the MBBS course.
• Not many entrances are conducted for admission to MBBS. National 
• Admission is done on the basis of the NEET examination which is conducted every year by NTA. 
• NEET is a national level exam conducted for admissions to undergraduate medical courses like MBBS, BDS, etc.
• Excepting, NEET there is no other mode of admission

MLB Medical College Jhansi Admission Procedure:

• Admission for 85% seats of MLB Medical College Jhansi are done by state quota counselling authority
• And the remaining 15% seats are filled by MCC Medical Counselling Committee
